And here’s the recipes for:
Christmas Hot chocolate in a Jar
Layer the ingredients for homemade cocoa in a jar (Jars are available in 500ml $8 and 1L $10 through Pop Roc), add some twine and a tag, and you have a simple but stylish gift. This mix will fill a 500ml jar (6 servings), but if your jars are different sizes, just keep the ratio of ingredients constant.
On the back of the tag, write: “Shake contents in the jar. For each serving, place 1/3 cup of the mix in a mug and stir in 1 cup boiling water”.
Ingredients
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup icing sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup miniature chocolate chips
1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy
Preparation
Layer powdered milk, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, chocolate chips, and peppermint candy.
